Students in HOSA club practicing skills

National HOSA week serves as an opportunity to celebrate future healthcare professionals and their dedication to learning and growth. This year, Martin L. Nesbitt, Discovery Academy’s HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) club marked the occasion with hands-on activities aimed at developing critical healthcare skills.

During the celebration, students practiced CPR compressions, measured pulse oximetry, and took blood pressure readings, showcasing their commitment to mastering essential techniques. These activities reflect the core mission of HOSA, a global organization that prepares and empowers the next generation of healthcare leaders.
