Report Scholarship Offers Here
There are lots of sources of scholarship money. Most importantly complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after it opens. This is how you will get access to need-based aid from the government. Some scholarship sources use this information for merit-based aid. If your college requires the CSS Profile, complete it as soon as you can after it opens. This is how you will get access to need-based and merit-based aid from the college. Search your colleges' websites for scholarships that are specific to their college.
In addition to financial aid that comes from the government and colleges, students can search for scholarships on websites such as the ones below. Another source of scholarships is the community. Think about organizations that you are a part of (employer, religious organization, dentist, etc.) and see if they offer scholarships. CFNC, the Buncombe County Schools Foundation and Community Foundation of Western NC are other sources of local scholarships.
Please understand that the sea of scholarships is vast and what is posted here is by no means an exhaustive list! REMEMBER: Legitimate scholarship search programs will not ask for payment for their services.
