Students enrolled in A-B Tech courses may have received communication directly from A-B Tech this week. The college has announced its tentative plan to reopen Oct. 28. Until we have more details about Buncombe County Schools resuming, they are under no obligation to complete assignments at this time. We’re working closely with A-B Tech on plans to help students succeed with their coursework once Buncombe County Schools are back in session. If your student has concerns they may not be able to successfully complete A-B Tech classes due to the storm, please have them reach out to their high school counselor.
Students enrolled in NCVPS courses, please know teachers are aware of the challenging circumstances in Buncombe County. Instructors will be supporting students to help them succeed as well. These students are also not obligated to complete any assignments until BCS resumes its semester.
