Buncombe County Schools (BCS) is proud to host a series of Town Hall meetings that serve as examples of intentional, inclusive decision-making for staff, students, and families. These meetings provide a platform for stakeholders to share what they would like to see changed, kept, or removed from the Strategic Plan. Feedback from across the county is crucial as the school system works to create an updated strategic plan.
“BCS is working to develop a plan that will lead to a 100% graduation rate for all students,” said Superintendent Dr. Rob Jackson. “We are committed to seeing each and every student thrive and succeed after high school, and it is with big dreams that we can see this goal become a reality.”
The first town hall meeting was held at West Buncombe Elementary, where feedback was received for the Erwin district. The second meeting took place at North Buncombe High, and the remaining districts will meet over the next several weeks.
