Ross, Alysia (Spanish)

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español!

Sra. Ross
¡Hola! Me llamo Señora Ross. Hi! My name is Mrs. Ross. I am excited to start my first year at Nesbitt Discovery Academy. I love Spanish so much! It has changed my life in more ways than one. While not a native Spanish speaker, I speak with near-native fluency. This is because I have had the opportunity to study Spanish and spend time abroad. I have studied abroad twice in Mexico, completed a graduate internship in Argentina, and served in the United States Peace Corps for two years in Ecuador. I have a master's degree in Spanish from the University of Louisville. Before teaching at NDA, I taught at Iredell Statesville Schools. I have also taught college Spanish at the University of Louisville, University of North Carolina Charlotte, and the University of Southern Indiana. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters.
