Hello. Welcome to my website.
This
year I am new to the staff at the Nesbitt Discovery Academy. I am very
excited to be here and to work with students in this new environment.
Previously, I taught a variety of English classes, including AP Language, English I, II, III and IV at A.C. Reynolds over the past 9 years.
I
received my B.A. in English from the College of Charleston. My husband
and I moved to Asheville in 1994, and I received my teaching license
from UNCA. While taking time off from teaching to raise my two
daughters, I achieved my M.A.Ed. from Western Carolina University.
I am hoping to start a Poetry Club here at NDA. If you are interested, come by and let me know!
