Math Club at Charleston Math Meet
The math club at Nesbitt Discovery Academy competed at the College of Charleston Math Meet for the fifth consecutive year since the school opened. The students and their advisors, Mrs. Wendy Wheeler and Mrs. Sumer Robinson, have been preparing for this year's math competitions weekly during lunch and after school practice sessions. On Saturday, February 23, senior Perrin Alaine-Sedano placed second in both the Math Marathon and the Pre-Calculus Sprint and junior Erik Dahlburg got Honorable Mention in Level 3. The Level 2 team, consisting of junior Samuel Brown, sophomore Renee Zhang, freshman Ella Mayfield, and sophomore Emma Whitney, took home an honorable mention. Third place in Varsity Elimination was earned by Dahlburg, Brown, Alaine-Sedano, and senior Zach Moss.

Congratulations to the entire math club and good luck in the rest of this year's competitions!
