Hi NDA Seniors and families!

Graduation is approaching quickly so I wanted to communicate some important details for the upcoming ceremony and diploma pickup. An email has also been sent to students with more specific details from Mr. Fisher.  Please take a minute to read that communication with your student.

The virtual graduation ceremony will be posted at 2pm on Sunday, May 31st.  We will post the ceremony on Facebook and our school website.  I encourage graduates to wear cap and gowns and following the ceremony students will receive their diploma on campus anytime between 3:30-5pm.  A stage will be set up similar to a live ceremony as I will hand seniors their diploma as they cross the stage.  Parents can take pictures as graduates receive diplomas and an area will be designated after crossing the stage for more pictures to be taken as families.  Faculty and staff will be here to celebrate with you and you may decorate you cap too for this event!

Parents will drop their graduate off in the car rider lane with their materials to be turned in.  Once students enter the building their family will continue in their vehicle via the parade route around the building to watch their graduate receive their diploma.  It’s important for seniors to come with their family so that they can be dropped off at the front door and then be picked up after receiving their diploma on the stage set up on the side of our building near the gym area.  Again, parents will be provided an area to take lots of pictures to celebrate this special time for our students!

We ask that you place your graduate’s name in the front dash of your vehicle to keep the line flowing in order as students receive their diploma and so we communicate effectively throughout the flow.  We do limit each student to no more than 2 vehicles.

Remember to wear your cap and gown, bring your laptop and any materials left to return.  Yearbooks, cords, and awards will be ready for pick up as well.

Thank you all for your patience as we make a great day for our seniors and celebrate their accomplishment in earning their high school diploma and being a high school graduate! Remember to access the email sent to your student’s email account for more specific details.

Thank you for your time and see you soon!
