Overview

The purpose of NDA chapter of National Honor Society shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in students of Martin L Nesbitt Jr Discovery Academy.

 Please see the bylaws above for details on chapter requirements, officer descriptions, membership details, and more.  Members must maintain an unweighted, cumulative GPA of 3.75 or above.  All current members are required to participate in the chapter's group service projects throughout the year.  All current and prospective members are required to complete a total of 50 hours of community service prior to the induction ceremony each year.  Members (and prospective members) can begin working towards these hours over the summer.  Keep an individual record of your service hours and begin submitting them for our record through this google form: http://goo.gl/forms/k9dOZ2M4jAD4CXLG3

 A meeting schedule will be announced at the beginning of the school year.  We will do our best to keep these meetings during lunch time to preserve your time before and after school.  Look back here for more details to come or contact the chapter advisers with any questions!
